Governor’s aide preaches peace, unity at new year gathering

Apostle Samuel Inyang, Senior Special Advisor to Governor Umo Eno on Christian Youth, has emphasised the importance of peace, oneness, unity, love, and togetherness among Akwa Ibom people.

He made the declaration during a New Year gathering with the ward executives of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ikot Akpan Obio Ekot, Etinan.

Inyang, who is also the national youth leader of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, urged the party to stand behind Governor Umo Eno as he implements his plans and vision for the state through his ARISE Agenda.

“This is my way of saying thank you for your continued support and unwavering loyalty to the government of HE, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, who found me worthy of the appointment as his aide,” he said.

Inyang highlighted the roles of his office in promoting Christian values among the youth and commended the party executives for their support.

He promised to extend his visit to other party structures for positive engagement.

Mr. Udeme Akpan, ward chairman of Southern Iman Ward 1, expressed gratitude to Governor Umo Eno for appointing Inyang to the newly created office and reassured him of the party’s support.

The event featured goodwill messages from notable figures, including former Chairman of Etinan, Apostle Ime Bassey Inyang, and Victor Johnathan.
