What started as a fairy lust tale between the little girl and the old man has left the girl pregnant and the man confused.
The unholy affair between the man, said to be the most senior vice principal in the secondary school located along a major road in Uyo metropolis, WatchmanPost learnt, did not come as a surprise to many teachers and students in the school.
Reports say the little girl, on many occasions, abandoned her class and lessons to hang around with the elderly man in his office during school hours.
Obviously enjoying her balloon affairs with a man old enough to be her grandfather, the misguided girl, said to be an orphan, is said to often boast to her friends in the school of her illicit intimacy with the old man.
Besides, she was said to successfully dare her seniors who tried to beat her into line for breaking some rules imposed by the seniors on their juniors.
When the absence of the girl from school this term became conspicuous, some teachers are said to have become curious about what might have become of her, only to learn later that she was on her way to motherhood, and that the father of the expected child is the vice principal.
WatchmanPost reliably learnt that one of the teachers was so upset by the development that she vowed to get child rights activists involved in the matter, more so as the little girl might not have anyone in her family to stand up to the man.
