The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Late Mrs. Nkoyo Ita John Ikot, the beloved mother of DSP Nyeneime Ita John and DSP Timfon Ita John, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Command.
In a statement made available to WatchmanPost and signed by ASP Johnmark C. Onah, the Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, the Command, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP Baba Mohammed Azare, officers, and men of the Command, extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family over what it described as a painful and irreparable loss.
According to the statement, the Command shares in the grief of its officers during this difficult time and acknowledged the life and legacy of the deceased as a woman who served as a pillar of strength to her family and community.
It noted that her passing is not only a loss to her immediate family but also to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The Command prayed that Almighty God grants the family the fortitude to bear the painful loss and also grants the soul of the departed eternal rest.
The Police Command further assured DSP Nyeneime Ita John and DSP Timfon Ita John of its full support and solidarity throughout the period of mourning.
