The former Presidential Adviser on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang, has revalidated his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibiono Ibom Ward 2.
The exercise was attended by hundreds of party faithful, who gathered to show their support for the senator and the party.
During the event, Senator Enang expressed his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, citing the president’s developmental achievements across the country.
He also emphasized Governor Umo Eno’s strategic decision to align with the APC, which he believes will foster collaboration with the federal government and lead to greater development in Akwa Ibom State.
Senator Enang supervised the revalidation exercise in other wards of the local government, calling for peaceful conduct and encouraging party members to participate in the process.
He also praised the governor’s performance and thanked him for appointing Dr. Iniobong Essien as Chairman of the Ibom Airport Development Company.
Stakeholders and ward leaders praised Governor Eno’s performance and thanked him for his appointment of Dr. Essien.
They also expressed their support for the senator and the party, highlighting the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving the party’s goals.
The event was attended by senior party chieftains, including the Ward Chairman, Mr. Udeme Nkanta, the Ward Political Leader, Obong Churchill Ekop, PA to Governor, Lady Imaobong Anthony, and Councillor representing the ward, Hon. Aniebiet John, among others.
