Why my second term is sacrosanct – Rep Jimbo

Hon. Clement Jimbo, the Member representing Abak Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, has expressed his determination to secure a second term in office.

Speaking with newsmen in Uyo, Jimbo highlighted his impressive achievements in his first term, including the construction of 13 school blocks, development of town halls, provision of thousands of solar-powered street lights, and bursary awards, among others.

According to Jimbo, his effective representation and responsible leadership have made a significant impact in his constituency, and he is confident that his people will reward him with a second term.

“The effective representation of Clement Jimbo is palpable. It can be felt and touched. Even the blind can see what we have done,” he said.

Jimbo used the medium to commend Governor Umo Eno for his inclusive approach to governance, noting that the governor has made efforts to make the state resources available to all Akwa Ibom people, regardless of party affiliation.

Jimbo who is of the All Progressives Congress, APC, expressed his party’s willingness to work closely with the governor and to support his policies and programmes.

Clement Jimbo also lauded the President of the Senate, Dr Godswill Akpabio, for his exploits at the red chambers, noting that the people of the state were ready to send him back to the Senate.

Jimbo noted that the youths in his area have also declared their support for his second term bid, emphasizing the importance of young people’s involvement in policy formulation and implementation.

With his impressive track record and strong support from his constituents, Jimbo is optimistic about his chances of securing a second term in office.

He noted, that his mantra of effective representation, responsible leadership, and shared prosperity, would continue to guide his legislative steps, and that he is committed to building on his achievements to make a lasting impact in his constituency.
