●Says meeting Akpabio a miracle that turn things around for him
The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner at the Management Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Apostle Abasiandikan Nkono, has celebrated God’s faithfulness, lauding the President of●g things around in his life.
Speaing at the Mount Zion Light House Full Gospel, Nung Oku Assembly on Sunday, May 5, Apostle Nkono said he was thanking God because He, God used Godswill Akpabio and his wife to change his story for the better.
Narrating how he met Sen. Akpabio through prophetic utterance, Hon. Nkono said, “I went for a tarry night at the Mount Zion Light House Full Gospel sometime in 2006. A prophet told me that in 21 days, I will meet a man who will change my life forever.
“It so happened that at exactly 21 days, as I was working at McGiraf Cyber Café in Uyo, someone gave me a call telling me that he wanted to introduce me to a commissioner, who was then Barr Godswill Obot Akpabio.”
Thanking Senator Akpabio for allowing God to use him to transform him, Nkono said, “You have touched the lives of people and because of the impacts you’ve made in the lives of people, you are being blessed every second of the day. I have gone through a lot, but because of you, people have started respecting me.
“Loyalty pays. I will do everything within my powers to make sure you don’t regret appointing me into NDDC. I shall remain loyal and serve to the best of my abilities.”
While thanking his wife for standing by him in moments of trial, the Commissioner used the opportunity to appreciate all stakeholders, including the Akwa Ibom State governor and his deputy, as well as management board of the NDDC, for honouring his invitation.
In his remarks the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio lauded Apostle Nkono for remembering to thank God for His bountiful blessings upon him.
Senator Akpabio who said it was the grace of God that empowered him to be of blessing to millions of people within and outside the state, noted that God loved men of gratitude and would continue to elevate those who deserve it.
Akpabio used the occasion to charge Nigerians to pray for the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose Renewed Hope Agenda, was poised to transforming lives and elevating the standard of living in the country.
