The family of the late Pa Effiong Dickson Umana of Eyo Ukitoyo, EyoAbasi royal family in Ubodung group of villages in Urue Offong/Oruko LGA of Akwa Ibom State, has announced the glorious home call of her matriarch, Madam Eno Effiong Dickson (Nee Eno Henshaw), who passed on at the age of 90.
The nonagenarian was renowned for her love, tenacity, and commitment to her community and family.
According to a statement jointly signed by Prince Asuquo Effiong Dickson and Sir Monday E. Dickson, KJW, the mourning house will open on Sunday, November 17, 2024, by 3 p.m.
While family friends and in-laws are expected to visit on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, by 3 p.m., a novelty football match between Progressive Allstars FC of Uyo and Legend FC of Abak, is scheduled for Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 4 p.m at the Primary School ground, Ubodung.
Meanwhile, Friends’ Night is scheduled for Friday, November 22, 2024 at the bereaved family compound.
The obsequies will climax with a funeral ceremony to be conducted by Methodist Church Nigeria will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10 a.m.
