Newsday Newspapers condoles with Pastor Umo Eno over wife’s semise

The Management and Staff of Newsday Newspapers have extended heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, Governor Umo Eno, over the passing of his beloved wife, Her Excellency Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno.

“Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno succumbed to a brief illness, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion to her family and community”, the Paper noted.

In a condolence message signed by Chief E.O. ISONG, Mokafa of Efut Kingdom, Obong Nsehe Ekpene Ukim Uruan, Okete Okete Oro, who is the Publisher of the Newspapers, the organization expressed deep sympathy and support to Governor Umo Eno and his family.

“We understand that during this difficult time, it can be a struggle to find peace or comfort in anything, but we know that the only One who can give that peace and comfort is our Lord Jesus Christ,” the message read.

The message also quoted Isaiah 25:8, which says: “He will swallow up death forever, The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; He will remove the disgrace of His people from all the earth. The Lord has spoken.”

The Newsday Newspapers family prayed that Governor Umo Eno and his family find solace in God’s word and that the gentle soul of Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno rests in the bosom of Jesus Christ.
