Breaking: Two dead as Donald Trump escapes assassination in Pennsylvania rally

Donald Trump on day he escaped assassination

Two people have been confirmed dead as former President Donald Trump of the United States of America escaped an apparent assassination bid on him at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, Saturday, 13th July.

According to agency reports, the former president who is attempting a return to the White House was addressing a campaign rally in Pennsylvania when he suddenly clutched his right ear and went down on the stage and was promptly surrounded by undercover agents who took him off the stage sending fear and anxiety over the top at the campaign venue and its surroundings.

Trump, who has been locked in heated political rhetoric with incumbent President Joe Biden, is most likely to emerge the presidential nominee of the Republican Party in the November 2024 ballot in spite of having been convicted in multiple count criminal charges bordering on dishonest filing of business documents with authorities.

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) said that several gunshots were heard just before Trump went down holding his right ear.

An analyst in the medium said that one of the security operatives was overheard shouting, “Shoot her down”, implying that the suspected attempted assassin may be a woman.

However, the suspected shooter, a male, was confirmed dead, according to US media reports.

The Washington Post reported that Butler County District Attorney, Richard Goldinger, said two people were dead, including the suspected shooter.

Trump was seen in a video being rushed off the husting into a waiting SUV. Before getting inside the car, he was seen raising his right fist in defiance.

He was said to have been given medical attention at a local hospital and later reports said that he was stable.

As at the time of filing this report there was no official statement to confirm there was indeed an attempted assassination, but there is prima face evidence that he was fired at.

Five days prior, President Joe Biden, amid growing concerns over his physical and mental fitness to seek reelection, had said, according to agency reports, that he was the only one who could beat Trump, adding that Trump was in the bull’s eye.

However, it is not clear whether the Pennsylvania incident has anything to do with what Biden, who is having a rough walk in the campaign trail, said or meant.

  1. Thanks to God that he wasn’t killed. If he runs for president against Biden, the latter will lose to him. This attempt on his life just made him more popular. The Nags have a brighter chance to regain power, if you ask me.

  2. The Luciferians have begun manifesting and showing signs of desperation…we must preserve our sanctity and humanity and not allow them gain traction.

  3. Trump is becoming more popular with what has happened and more likely to win the presidential election in November.. Presidential candidates who had faced assassination attempts in the past ended up winning the elections. Remember that Buhari faced an assassination attempt when his convoy was attacked with bomb in Kaduna in 2015. He survived it and went ahead to win the presidential election. Going by that, then it is most likely that Trump will win.
