Esop Mbong Iban Uruan condoles with Gov Umo Eno over wife’s demise

●Says loss irreplaceable, irreparable 

The President of Esop Mbong Iban, Uruan Local Government Area, Obonganwan Regina Inyang Willy JP, has on behalf of the organisation, sympathised with the governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, over the sudden and unfortunate demise of his beloved wife, Patience.

“It is still fresh in our memory, the loss of our dear governor’s wife, who was a mother and pillar to all Akwa Ibom women”, Obonganwan Regina said during a chat with newsmen recently in Idu, Uruan L.G.A.

She expressed shock, lamenting the loss of Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, saying her transition has created a vacuum which is irreplaceable and irreparable.

Obonganwan Willy joined well wishers to condole with the Governor, Pst. (Dr.) Umo Eno and his family, praying God to give the first family the fortitude to bear the unfortunate fate.

She congratulated the governor on his one year anniversary in office, and for his inclusive governance, having appointed aides from across all political wards of the state, and for his bipartisanship initiatives of making policies that positively affect the rural dwellers.

The former Board Member, Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afaha Nsit, also applauded the governor for successfully conducting the just concluded Local Government election in the state, describing the Governor as a listening leader who has through his ARISE Agenda given hope to the hopeless citizen of the state.

While also thanking Governor Umo Eno for appointing numerous women into different positions in his administration, and for ensuring that women were carried along in all local government areas as either chairmen or vice chairmen of councils, the President pledged her organisation’s continued support to the administration of Governor Umo Eno.

“We hope and believe Umo Eno’s tenure in office will surely deliver more fruitful dividends of democracy to the entire citizens of the state,” she concluded.

Meanwhile, she also expressed gratitude to the newly elected Uruan Local Government Chairman, Surveyor Iniobong Ekpenyong, along with his vice chairperson, Obonganwan Grace Edem and their entire cabinet.
